School Parliament

Knayton Primary School has a very active Student Parliament. Over the years, the Parliament have been successful in bringing about changes for the pupils of our school. They meet regularly to discuss important issues and help the head teacher and governors make our school outstanding!

The school parliament are appointed democratically. The children write a manifesto and campaign for support from their classmates. Each child in school votes using a ballot box. The school parliament have met with a local councillor to discuss their role in improving the school.

Mr Butterworth works alongside the school parliament to ensure that children play a key role in developing our school.
