Afterschool Clubs Autumn Term - 2017

We will be offering the following afterschool clubs beginning Monday 11th September 2017 for a total of 10 weeks.  All clubs will begin at 3.30pm and finish at 4.15pm unless stated. If you are collecting your child please ensure you arrive at school no later than these times.

If your child would like to attend a club please tick the box next to the club and complete the form. Return the letter to your child’s class teacher or the school office by Friday 8th September 2017.  Your child will be given a confirmation slip on this day to state whether your child has been allocated a space.

We are very fortunate here at Knayton Church of England Primary School that all staff willingly give their own free time to run and support after-school clubs. Clubs are excellent for children to practise and achieve new skills and socialise with their friends and peers. We expect children attending after-school clubs to make a commitment to come along every week for the duration of the club and to cooperate with the staff running and supporting the club showing good manners and respect towards all staff and all other club members.

Mr Butterworth will be running a KS2 Change4Life club every Monday, followed by a KS1 Chang4Life club later in the year. Change4Life is a public health programme that encourages everyone to eat well, move more and live longer. This will be an invite only club and will be aimed at inspiring children who wouldn’t necessarily choose to partake in sport. At Knayton, we believe there is a sport for everyone and we want every child to participate in regular physical activity and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Thank you,

Mr. Butterworth
